Today marks the first full day in my new place. I know over time my townhouse will become the greatest home I’ve ever lived in. It’s been a long time in the making, and I feel it’s overdue. To think back on how big I used to think my apartment was to knowing that it was indeed smaller.

Moving from 1200sqft to 1750sqft (plus an unfinished basement) is just crazy. I have a deck and a garage finally. I finally feel like I’m at a good place in my life. I always thought I had a plan to get to where I’m at currently. I would get married, wait it out a bit, save, and then buy a house to start a family in, but things change. I still worry and wish to plan my future, but I know ultimately I can’t do that. Right now, I’ll enjoy being in my new place, getting things to my liking and worrying about the rest later. That’s not to say I still don’t worry about those things on a daily basis, I’ll just stop making them the focus of my life.
