			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I had some family over this weekend and I looked at some shows on iTunes to purchase. I forgot how ridiculously priced seasons were for TV shows. For most seasons of TV shows it was priced from $35-45 with HD content ranging from $40-70.</p>
<p>Now, it looked like they took the standard $1.99 for non-HD content per episode and $2.99 per HD content per episode and just added them together. It&#8217;s rather ridiculous to assume people would pay for this content when you can simply wait for it to arrive on physical media. In fact, I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve seen any Bluray sets more than $55 lately.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t know how companies feel they&#8217;re justified in charging the consumer that much for something that&#8217;s digital. I understand bandwidth costs etc etc, but it feels to me they are out pricing their digital model to drive people away from it and stick to physical media.</p>
