Playing Catchup

This could get scary folks… Obama has to pick someone to replace a SCJ. A Democrat hasn’t been in this position in 15 years. Obama certainly likes to throw around words that he never intends to fully fulfill. He says he will consult with both Democrats and Republicans on the issue, which I highly doubt. He says he will pick someone before October’s session begins. If he can do that, why can’t he pick the rest of his cabinet?  And he says he wants someone who upholds the Constitution. The funny thing is, he’s destroying it at every turn. What does this all mean? Well, for one there’s another justice that would be against Obama’s most blatant Constitutional fumble, whether or not he is even eligible to be president. Yes, I’m one of those.

I firmly believe if you have nothing to hide, show your hand. At this point Obama has put on a fight to keep his Birth Certificate under lock and key. When people questioned John McCain he came out and released all document proving he was eligible. When people call out Obama, he shuts them down or the left call those people morons, conspiracy theorists, loonies, and everything else. The hypocrisy has to stop. If I voted for someone Republican that there was evidence they did not meet those qualifications, I would completely agree with having them prove otherwise and would fight to get them to do so. Why? Because I believe that the Constitution is the fabric that holds our great Republic together. We’ve been moving further and further away from the Constitution since the New Deal. It’s really time we move back to our living document.

I completely agree with all the states going towards the 10th Amendment, and in case you don’t want to Wiki it:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

I think it’s pretty simple and I’m glad more states are jumping on this bandwagon and hope they all succeed.

And what is with Specter flipping? I mean, we all knew he was a RINO, but still. 2010 cannot come swiftly enough.

I’ve been away for awhile and I’ve been trying to decide how I wanted to continue this site and what posts I wanted to do. In the end, I will continue my commentary on the lefts further destruction of our sacred Republic.

I leave you with a great quote dealing with Justices:

“Obama’s own record and rhetoric make clear that he will seek left-wing judicial activists who will indulge their passions, not justices who will make their rulings with dispassion,” said Ed Whelan, president of the conservative Ethics and Public Policy Center.

He’s right. We need justices that will not rule based on passion, but with dispassion. Clarence Thomas is one of those justices, he upholds the Constituition and I don’t believe Obama will ever pick someone like Clarence Thomas. I completely admire Thomas because he upholds that which is most important in this great nation, our Constituition, not his emotions.
