The Fight Against White America

Apparently according to Obama’s economic advisor, who happens to be white, the stimulus money shouldn’t go to high skilled professionals or WHITE construction workers. Seriously, why is it ok to single out white people in this? If he had said any other race this would have been blown up all over the news. How about we get on track and that money should be put towards retraining the American public into working at jobs they’re not currently qualified for. You always hear the old Chinese proverb, “Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.”

Our unemployment system is broken, simply put. Welfare is broke as well. People are milking our systems while the hard workers of this country foot the bill. We shouldn’t be limited what money goes towards people. As long as they are a citizen of the USA and they’re actively working towards bettering themselves, I have no problems helping them out. It’s the low life’s that decide to work the system and people like Reich that says the government shouldn’t give money to white construction workers that bother me. First off, I think that construction workers are not majorly white any longer. Second off, the money needs to go to who needs it, regardless of the color of their skin. Apparently MLK’s words fall on deaf ears when it comes to equality in this nation.

Lastly, I’d like to state that the media loves to parade about when there happens to be white on black crime, but neglects to cover black on white crime, which the last few I’ve read about have been brutal crimes. Why do we ignore when it’s the other way around? Is it because of slavery? That’s long gone. And as far as racism goes in this country, I know there’s still a deep line we have to cross, but the fact is, if we refuse to report what truly is happening, we’re just prolonging the problem and not addressing it.
