Everyone speaks about how Bush was a horrible president, but those are people that aren’t looking at the bigger picture. Sure he started wiretapping using the countries telecom company, which I feel is a blatant violation of privacy, but he did something I don’t think Gore or Kerry could’ve ever done. Asked Congress to head to war and then continue to keep it up after everyone was against him. I think years from now we’ll look back and all those who thought he was such a horrible president, will say how great he was and how he did something unpopular but it made a difference.
I just feel that terrorists know not to mess with Bush and if there was a Democrat in office, they wouldn’t be as hesitant to do the horrible things they do. Yes, we lost a lot of lives in the past few years, but it wasn’t in vain as so many people say, but for a greater good, even if the world isn’t behind us. We’ll look back on the legacy he left and wished we had all been more supportive of his actions, at least I can only hope…
