Thin Skinned

So I was watching the Daily Show last night and I saw a quote they put up from Rep. Broun from GA.

“That’s exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it’s exactly what the Soviet Union did… he’s showing me signs of being Marxist… You have to remember that Adolf Hitler was elected in a democratic Germany.” [1]

Now, they used this quote from Fox News in a clip about gun sales being up after Obama was elected. The quote actually taken completely out of context and most of that quote is directed as a national security force within the borders of America that Obama was pushing for. Bush even supports this, but this isn’t what this post is about. It’s about how the left called Bush Hitler throughout his 8 years and yet when someone calls the Democrat president-elect Hitler, they scoff and make fun of who said it and then go on a rampage of hate. Why is it the right can take the name calling, but the second the left gets a little taste of it, they freak out and become 4th graders on the school playground? The left is filled with this type of hypocrisy and it’s sickening.
