change…well, not really

I’d like to take the moment and say a couple things about our most recent election.

If you voted for Obama because you hated Bush, didn’t like McCain, wanted change, believed in the hope slogan or because he is black, you’re officially an idiot.

If you voted for McCain because Obama is black, you’re an idiot as well.

Why?

If you’re ignorant enough to listen to TV ads and what people say instead of following your beliefs in what matters to you, you are an idiot. So many people didn’t know what Obama stood for yet voted for him anyway. There is no change, except for now a Democrat is in office. It’ll be back to the same old Democrat crap there always is. If there was a Republican, there would be more Republican crap in office.

The problem isn’t who was voted for, it’s that the people are so complacent to accept everything at face value. Have we really become a nation so indoctrinated to what TV, Radio and people tell us that we refuse to look up anything that’s being said? America as a whole is completely disgraceful when it comes to what we have. We don’t hold those in power accountable for what’s been done. We blame others for our problems. We wish the government to coddle us from birth until death.

And for the record people, Bush isn’t the cause of the war, your Congress is. You elected them and they voted. People really need to take a basic civics class before they should even be able to vote. So many mindless drones in the country, I’m almost ashamed to admit this is my home.

It’s this simple. What matters most to you? Who sits in line with your views? Don’t vote on who a person is or who was there before them or vote against them because of their race or that they ran a popularity contest. Vote for them because they stand for what you believe in, and no Billy, change and hope is not a platform to run on.

Our system is broken, and we need to fix them. Who is strong and willing enough to taken on that challenge? So far, no one has, and it’s a damn shame that we will become like the rest, and fall like those before us.

This rambled all over the place, but that’s how my mind is. A turbulent sea that’s always changing direction. I’m just furious today that liberals attack conservatives day in and day out. I’m going to have to do something about that very soon.
