Halloween was one of those days where I always wanted to get dressed up and go out and have fun. But the reality of it was I never did anything on this day whatsoever. It’s just my personality never letting me enjoy what’s out there. I’m sure if I ended up in a situation where I ran into a chick and she turned out to be a pretty good person, I’m sure I’d try again in the same spot, like Ted. Although, I probably wouldn’t be entirely sure that going as the same thing 3 years in a row would help my chances.
I just want to have a bit of fun on the one day where you can get dressed up as ANYTHING and go out and get hammered and no one is going to think anything about it. It’s one of those things I feel I’ve missed out on. Barney is constantly trying to get Ted to get to a better party and enjoy the evening, while he sits alone, waiting for the slutty pumpkin. I am that guy, sitting around waiting for something to happen to me. When I should be out there making something happen instead.
