I have always loved Martin Scorsese films even when others thought they weren’t that great. Something about him seems to just radiate genius. And that’s definitely evident with The Departed. It’s actually a remake of the Hong Kong film, Infernal Affairs. Both have the same general storyline, just told in two different areas of the globe. It’s a damn good film and I’m glad everyone is thinking the same thing. The style just set off the whole movie and the twists and turns made it even better. I would definitely recommend seeing this movie if you already haven’t.
I can’t believe I actually waited so long to see this, I’ve been really bad about watching movies lately and I really have to break out of that habit and get to watching, up next, Children of Men.
